Useful Information

Address: 9 Union Street, Tranmere, Birkenhead, CH42 3TL

Townhouse, has been established since 2005 and is an old pub. From the outside we remain purposely 'scruffy' and inconspicuous, so as to detract unwanted attention; we are lush on the inside though!! So you are looking for a large cream building on a corner of Union St, just by an Iron railway bridge. Turn down the dead end side street heading for 'Bookers' Car Park and you will see large black gates to your right...that's us! If you are driving, park your car in the Bookers car park.

The routes to Townhouse - If you are travelling from the M53 Motorway, then come off at junction 5 and head for Birkenhead via the A41 and then through the New Ferry Bypass and towards the New Chester Road. You will eventually come to a Carphone Warehouse shop on your left, turn left here onto Union Street and 1st left again..you have arrived.

If you are travelling from Liverpool, then go through the Queensway tunnel (the Birkenhead tunnel) and go straight ahead on the A41. You will go past a Shell Service station on your left and then come  to a set of traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and then 1st left; you have arrived.

Alcohol and snacks:

We have a well stocked bar at Townhouse and cater for most tastes and needs. A wide range of hot and cold soft drinks is available including Costa Coffee and Clipper tea.  We have a licensed bar which is highly subsidised, including our very own oriGIN bar which is a firm favourite amongst our Juniper Junkie guests! Our prices starts from £1.80 per shot for the likes of Smirnoff Vodka and Gordons gin upto £3.00 per shot for Premium Grey Goose Vodka. Mixers start at £1.00. We ask that all guests drink in moderation, as drinking to excess can be disruptive but it can also make you push your own boundaries!! We don't want you waking up the next day thinking 'what have I done?!'
